Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Gencyh, based in Pakistan, handles information through this website and the services described here. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to gencyhai@gmail.com or through our contact page.

Information used by free tools

Most calculators process the values you enter in your browser. They do not submit those calculation values to a Gencyh account database. You do not need a public user account to use the free tools.

The snow day calculator sends your selected country, postal code and forecast sensitivity to our server. The country and postal code are used with Zippopotam.us to find an approximate location. Location coordinates are sent to the Norwegian Meteorological Institute's MET weather service to retrieve a forecast. These lookups do not include your name or contact email. Provider responses may be cached to reduce repeated lookups.

Calculator results help you assess a scenario. They are not decisions by Gencyh about your eligibility for employment, credit, insurance or another regulated service.

Contact messages and project enquiries

When you contact us, we receive your name, email address and message, plus your phone number if you choose to provide it, including any project or support details you choose to provide. This information is sent to our email inbox through Gmail SMTP so we can respond and manage the conversation.

Your name, a valid email address and a message are needed to submit the contact form. A phone number is optional. Do not send passwords, payment card details or sensitive personal information through the form.

If you choose the WhatsApp contact link, WhatsApp processes the information you share under its own privacy policy. The link opens WhatsApp only when you select it; we do not load a WhatsApp tracking widget on the website.

For an agreed service, information needed to deliver the project may include business details, requirements, approved assets and access to systems you authorise us to use. The project agreement should identify any additional handling of customer, employee or CRM data.

Authorised administration and uploads

The administrative dashboard is for authorised Gencyh administrators. It is separate from the free public tools and is not a public SaaS customer account.

Administrative records include profile details, contact information, password hashes, sign-in sessions and security records. Session and audit records can include IP addresses, browser information, account actions and changes to managed content. They help protect accounts and investigate changes.

Administrative images are stored with Cloudinary. Images intended for publication may be accessible through their media URLs; an unlisted URL should not be treated as private storage. Administrative account records are stored in MongoDB Atlas.

Technical information and browser storage

Our servers and service providers receive technical information needed to deliver requests, including IP addresses and browser or request information. Error and security records help diagnose failures and prevent abuse. Hosting providers may maintain their own operational logs.

Your light or dark theme preference is stored in your browser. Authorised administrator sign-in uses a necessary authentication cookie. See our Cookie Policy for more details.

Why information is used and who receives it

Information is used to provide requested tool functionality, answer enquiries, deliver agreed work, support customers and protect our systems. Service providers involved in these functions include email, database, image storage, hosting and the weather lookup providers described above.

If a project involves a client's data, access and processing responsibilities need to be agreed for that project. We may also need to disclose information where a valid legal obligation requires it. Visiting an external link or using a third-party platform is subject to that provider's own privacy terms.

Providers may process information in countries different from yours. The location and safeguards applicable to a paid project or product must be considered with its specific data arrangements; this policy does not promise that all information stays in Pakistan.

Analytics, advertising and marketing

Advertising may be displayed on selected tool pages when Google AdSense is enabled. Advertising is separate from calculator results and does not change a tool's calculations. We do not send your calculator input values or contact messages to advertising tags. Submitting an enquiry is not a newsletter subscription.

Google's consent system may load on public pages to provide privacy choices even when no ad is displayed. Requests to Google include technical information such as IP addresses, browser information and the page address. Where advertising is displayed, Google and its partners may also use cookie identifiers and ad interactions to deliver, measure and protect advertising. Third parties may place or read cookies and use web beacons or similar technologies where permitted.

Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on visits to this and other websites. Google's advertising cookies enable it and its partners to personalise ads. Google's consent message provides choices where required, including for visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland. Where consent is required, ads are not requested while the decision is unresolved or consent to Google's device storage has been refused. Non-personalised ads can still require cookie consent.

Use Privacy and cookie settings in the footer when the consent system makes this option available to change or withdraw your choices. You can also manage personalised Google ads through Google's ad settings and participating vendors' opt-out controls. Withdrawal affects future processing and does not undo information already collected.

Google Analytics 4 may be enabled to measure public page views, calculator use, searches within tool options and successful contact enquiries. Its tag loads only after explicit analytics consent; missing or refused consent prevents collection. It can process technical information, such as IP addresses and browser details, along with cookie identifiers and coarse usage events. We do not send contact field contents, postal codes, raw search text, calculator inputs or results. URL query strings and fragments are excluded from our page events. No Meta or TikTok tracking pixel is installed.

SaaS accounts and billing

Where a specific SaaS product offers registration, a trial, a subscription or a one-time purchase, its product notice must explain the account information, usage data, billing details and payment provider involved. Collection of these details depends on the product you choose; this website's free tools do not require billing information.

Product-specific information must also explain any CRM integrations, AI providers or other systems that receive customer data. Do not assume that data handling is identical across every product.

Retention and security

Retention depends on the purpose of the information, the status of an enquiry or project, active account needs, security investigations, record-keeping obligations and any ongoing dispute. Contact emails, administrative records and service records can have different retention needs. No single retention period applies to all information.

Contact us to ask about retention or deletion of information relating to you. Information may need to be retained where a legal obligation or a legitimate unresolved matter prevents deletion.

Access controls, password hashing and other technical measures help protect information. No website, email system or storage provider can guarantee complete security.

Your privacy requests and choices

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of your information. You may also be able to object to certain processing and withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.

You can raise an objection separately by contacting us and identifying the processing you object to. We may need reasonable information to confirm your identity before responding. A request does not require you to send your password.

You may raise a complaint with a competent privacy authority where applicable. Contact us if you need the information relevant to your location or a particular service.

Children and policy updates

The public tools do not require registration or an age declaration. If a child has submitted personal information that should be removed, a parent or guardian can contact us. Product-specific age conditions must be stated where accounts or paid offerings are provided.

We will update this policy when the relevant features or information practices change. Additional product notices explain processing that is specific to that offering.
