Center a row of pictures accurately
For a chosen frame gap, the calculator adds the frame widths and gaps, then splits the remaining wall width evenly between the left and right margins. It also gives each frame-center position measured from the left edge so you can mark the layout before drilling.
If you choose equal gaps including the wall edges, the unused wall width is divided into one more gap than the number of frames. That makes both outer margins the same size as the spaces between frames.
Optional vertical hook position
When you enter frame height, the desired frame-center height from the floor and the hook offset measured down from the top of the frame, the tool calculates the hook or nail height. This avoids assuming a universal eye-level height because rooms, furniture and artwork sizes differ.

How do I space multiple pictures evenly on a wall?
Enter the usable wall width, frame width and number of frames. Choose equal gaps including the wall edges to let the calculator divide the remaining space evenly.
Can I choose the gap between pictures myself?
Yes. Use the 'Use my gap' spacing method. The calculator keeps that gap between frames and centers the complete row within the usable wall width.
What does frame center from the left edge mean?
It is the horizontal point where the center of each frame should land, measured from the left edge of the usable wall area.
Does the calculator assume a standard picture hanging height?
No. There is no built-in hanging-height recommendation. Optional nail height is calculated only from the vertical measurements you provide.
