What this calculator is for
This tool answers one narrow question: how much will eBay charge as a final value fee on this sale? It does not ask for product cost or profit targets, so the form stays focused on the fee itself.
eBay calculates the final value fee from the total amount of the sale, which can include item price, shipping or handling collected from the buyer and applicable sales tax. The category determines the percentage schedule, while a per-order charge can also apply.
When to use the advanced options
Most sellers can leave the advanced section unchanged. Use a seller-performance adjustment only when eBay currently applies that additional final value fee to your account or category.
The US international fee option is also intentionally manual because eBay International Shipping can remove that fee for eligible sales. The calculator does not guess whether your transaction qualifies.
