What the calculation includes
Core results include the category referral fee, FBA fulfillment fee, current fuel and logistics surcharge, applicable per item selling fee and product costs you enter.
For qualifying bulky products, the calculator can include the Amazon packaging fee and Overmax handling fee when the published rules apply.
Storage and inbound placement are included only when you enter a known per unit amount. Aged inventory charges, returns and seller specific programs are not guessed.
How Amazon FBA fees work
Referral fees depend on the product category and selling price. Some categories use one percentage while others use price thresholds or tiered rates.
FBA fulfillment fees depend on the packaged size, shipping weight and current selling price band. The calculator uses your dimensions and pounds plus ounces to determine the applicable product size tier.
Amazon currently adds a fuel and logistics surcharge to the base FBA fulfillment fee. The calculator shows it separately so the base fee stays clear.
The Individual plan has a per item selling fee. The Professional plan has a monthly subscription, so this calculator does not divide that monthly charge into a unit cost without a sales volume input.

Important fee information
Amazon can use dimensional weight for larger product tiers. Small Bulky and Large Bulky items can also have a packaging fee when Amazon packaging is required.
Storage varies with inventory volume and timing, while inbound placement costs depend on the shipment and placement option. Enter those costs only when you know the per unit amount.
ROI here means net profit divided by total included cost. Profit margin means net profit divided by selling price. They measure different things.
