The purpose is the boost decision
This is not a generic marketplace profit calculator with a different logo. It is built around one decision: how much profit changes when a Depop sale is attributed to a Boosted Listing.
For the selected country, the calculator applies the current payment-processing fee to the appropriate payment base, then calculates the current boost fee. It shows boosted and unboosted profit side by side so the cost of the boost is immediately visible.
Why the shipping setup matters
Depop's current Boosted Listings policy does not charge the boost fee on Depop Shipping labels. When you arrange shipping yourself, the applicable shipping amount can be included in the boost-fee base.
Payment processing follows a different basis and can include item price, shipping and applicable taxes. Those two fee bases are therefore kept separate rather than simplified into one percentage.

Depop's current seller-fee page states that sellers based in the US, UK and Australia are not charged a Depop selling fee. Payment-processing and Boosted Listing fees can still apply.
What is the current Depop boosting fee?
The current Boosted Listings policy states a 12% boosting fee in the US and UK and an 8% boosting fee in Australia.
Is the boost fee charged on shipping?
