How the Etsy discount calculation works
Enter the original listing price and the percentage discount. The calculator reduces the item price first, then applies the current Etsy fee engine to the resulting order revenue and subtracts the seller costs you enter.
Shipping charged to the buyer is kept separate from your seller-paid shipping cost. This matters because revenue and fulfilment cost are not the same thing.
What is included
The estimate can include the listing fee, transaction fee, Etsy Payments processing fee, applicable regulatory operating fee, Offsite Ads fee and currency conversion fee, plus product, shipping, packaging, labour and other costs you enter.

Are Etsy fees charged on the discounted price?
The calculator uses the post-discount item revenue in the order revenue used for transaction-related fee calculations, while also including other applicable order revenue such as shipping charged to the buyer.
Can I include Etsy Offsite Ads?
Yes. Select no Offsite Ads fee, the 15 percent rate, or the 12 percent rate according to the attributed order and your Etsy account status.
Does this calculator include my product and shipping costs?
Yes, when you enter them. Product cost, seller-paid shipping, packaging, labour and other costs are separated from Etsy fees and included in total costs.
